Astana. May 10. KazTAG - Over 50 thousand people returned to their homes in Kazakhstan, reports the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“Across the republic, over 50 thousand people have returned to their homes,” said the message.
It is reported that more than 15.8 million cubic meters of melt water have been pumped out since the beginning of the flood.
“Water has been diverted from 9,445 private residential buildings and 3,186 courtyard areas. More than 15.8 million cubic meters of melt water were pumped out, more than 7.7 million bags and 1.5 million tons of inert material were laid,” reads the report.
