Manned "Soyuz MS-06" with the expedition to ISS launched from Baikonur

13.09.2017 Baikonur. September 13. KazTAG - The manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-06 was launched with the crew to the International Space Station (ISS) from the Baikonur spaceport at 03.17.02.
The space vehicle will deliver Russian astronaut Alexander Misurkin, US astronauts Mark Wande Hei and Joseph Akaba  to the International Space Station.
Pre-launch preparations and launch of the Soyuz-FG carrier rocket with the Soyuz-MS-06 spacecraft were held in normal mode.
The crew of the Altair (the call sign of the commander of the Soyuz MS-06 spacecraft) will spend 167 days in space. During this time, an extensive program of more than 50 experiments on Russian programs will be performed, as well as more than 170 studies on the US programs.
A. Misurkin will make 1 spacewalk in accordance with the program of the ISS RS-VKD-44. American astronauts will make several exits to the space for various tasks.
The crew will return to Earth in March 2018.
