Astana. January 6. KazTAG - Inflation amounted to 5.4% in Kazakhstan in 2019, reports the statistics committee of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
"From the beginning of the year (December 2019 to December 2018) the prices increased for flour by 27.3%, cereals - by 25.3%, rice - by 21.6%, frozen fish - by 18.2%, lamb - by 16.9%, beef - by 16.2%, bread - 16%, horse meat - 15.4%, potatoes - 14.3%, pasta - 13.4%, eggs - 11.9%, poultry, pork - 11.6%, butter - by 11.3%, meat products - by 10.3%, coffee - by 9.7%, rennet cheese - by 9.5%, bakery and flour products - by 9.3%, tea - by 7.3%. Refreshments increased in price by 12.4%, tobacco products - by 12.2%, alcoholic beverages - by 7.6%," said the report.
Prices for goods and services increased by 0.7% in November, for food products - by 1.1%, for non-food products - by 0.6%, for paid services - by 0.3%.
Granulated sugar lowered in price by 22.4%.
