Astana. June 5. KazTAG – It is planned to for the construction of 111 million sq.m. housing for seven years and the main problems were considered by the government of Kazakhstan, the press service of the Prime Minister reports.
“Measures to ensure the construction of 111 million square meters of housing over the course of seven years were considered at a meeting of the Republican Headquarters for the implementation of the election program of the head of state, chaired by Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov,” the statement said on Monday.
Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Marat Karabaev reported that in the coming years it is planned to provide more than 1 million families with new housing.
“In order to achieve the set task, by the end of 2029, an annual increase in the commissioning of housing in the republic by 200 thousand sq.m. In particular, this year it is planned to complete 15.3 million square meters or over 143 thousand apartments. In order to carry out the work in a timely manner, the akimats approved road maps indicating specific facilities and the timing of their implementation. The Ministry, in turn, conducts monthly monitoring of each commissioned facility. According to the results of four months, the republican plan was overfulfilled by 19%: 4.3 million square meters were built against a plan of 3.6 million square meters - 36.6 thousand apartments,” the government said.
