Almaty. October 9. KazTAG - Kyrgyzstan is imposing temporary ban on poultry import from Kazakhstan, reports the Kyrgyzstan Telegraph Agency (KyrTAG).
"Due to assumption of highly pathogenic bird flu in the south of Kazakhstan, at the poultry farms of Almaty region (Altyn kus, Alsad) and due to the outbreak of Newcastle disease in Yeletsk, Ayyrtausk districts of the North Kazakhstan regions, Kyrgyzstan is imposing a temporary ban on import of live birds, poultry, eggs, feathers, feed from Almaty and North Kazakhstan regions,” reads the message.
