Astana. May 14. KazTAG - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin has ordered to draw up a road map for e-commerce development until 2025.
"I order the Ministry of National Economy jointly with the authorized state bodies and organizations to draw up a road map for development of electronic commerce until 2025 within one month," he said at the session of the Government.
He indicated that e-commerce is the world trend.
"According to the experts, electronic commerce will grow up by 1.5 times to $2.8 trln by 2025. In the developed states the share of electronic markets makes: about 21% in China, 15% in the EU, over 10% in the US," he said.
"I'd like to emphasize the following things: first- e-commerce must be considered as one of economic growth drivers targeted on infrastructure involvement and creation of new work places- from 33 000 in 2017 to 314 000 in 2025,” he said.
