Astana. February 25. KazTAG - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed an order appointing Askar Mamin to the post of a Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Akorda reports.
"The head of state has signed an order on appointment of A. Mamin to the post of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan," reads the message posted in Twitter.
A.Mamin worked as a First Deputy Prime Minister since September 2016.
Majilis deputies had approved the candidature of A. Mamin to the post of the new head of Government.
