"The stage of registration of presidential candidates will finish on May 11 at 18.00. All the promoted candidates comply with the requirements of the Constitution and the Constitutional Law "On elections in Kazakhstan", they have been registered until May 6 2019," said Konstantin Petrov, deputy chairman of the central electoral commission.
The central electoral commission has registered seven candidates : Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, from Nur-Otan party, Amirzhan Kosanov- from the National patriotic movement Ult Tagdyry, Sadibek Tugel- from Uly dala karandary, Amangeldi Tasphikhov- from the federation of professional unions of Kazakhstan, Daniya Yespayeva- from the democratic party of Kazakhstan, Toluetay Rakhimbekov- from people's democratic patriotic party Auyl, Zhambyl Akhmetbekov- from the communist’s people's party of Kazakhstan.
