103 families with many children resettled from Nur-Sultan to Ekibastuz
Almaty. July 29. KazTAG - 103 families with many children have been resettled from Nur-Sultan to Ekibastuz, said Yerzhan Zhilkibayev, first vice minister of labour and social protection.
"Nur-Sultan has been put on the list of regions of resettlement. Since the beginning of the year 103 families with many children have been resettled from the capital to Ekibastuz- i.e about 600 people. All of them have been provided with housing, 80% of employable age have been employed, children have been registered in kindergartens and schools," said Zhilkibayev at the press-conference.
The program has shown its effectiveness.
"Until the end of the year more than 200 families are planned to be resettled from Nur-Sultan to Ekibastuz," he added.
2253 families or 10 000 people are planned to be resettled from labor intensive regions located in the south to labour deficient regions located in the north this year.
According to the vice-minister, measures of state support for immigrants include one-time payment for relocation - 88 000 tenge for each family member; 77 000 tenge for every family are provided for renting housing and paying utility bills monthly for a 12 months period.
