120 pedestrians were fined in Astana during a raid

Astana. June 9. KazTAG - 120 pedestrians were brought to administrative responsibility in a raid in Astana, reported the press service of the administrative police management of the Department of Internal Affairs.
"Following the raid, road police brought to administrative responsibility 120 pedestrians under the Article 473 "On Administrative Offences"(violation of traffic rules by pedestrians)," - is said in a press release on Monday.
According to the press service, during the day police officers in Astana kept watch near shopping malls and intersections, where mostly  pedestrians violate the traffic rules by crossing the road on red light or at an undisclosed location.
It is noted that similar measures aimed to prevent traffic violations by pedestrians, are held regularly. They have become one of the most effective measures to reduce the accident rate in the city.
"As practice shows, this category of road users is the most undisciplined," - the report indicates.
According to statistics, since the beginning of the year in Astana pedestrians occurred  fault in 46 traffic accidents.
