123 people died in flooding in Afghanistan
Almaty. April 28. KazTAG -123 people died in flooding in Afghanistan, reports the Afghanistan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG).
"A big flooding following two days intensive showers caused chaos in the Afghanistan's provinces Faryab. Dzhauzdan, Sari-Pul and Badgis. The total number of casualties reached 123 people, more than 30 settlements were flooded, thousands of houses have been destructed," reads the message.
Rescuers are working in the districts including by helicopters. The Administration for Emergency Situations of Afghanistan has not estimated the damage yet.
