1252 people contracted COVID-19 and pneumonia with signs of CVI in Kazakhstan per day

Astana. January 20. KazTAG - 1252 people have contracted COVID-19 (CVI +) and pneumonia with signs of coronavirus infection (CVI-) in Kazakhstan per day, said the press service of the Ministry of Health.
“From March 13, 2020 to January 20, 2021, CVI +: morbidity - 171232 (1134 over the past day), mortality - 2431 (eight over the past day); from August 1, 2020 to January 20, 2021, CVI-: morbidity - 46 984 (118 over the past day), mortality - 545 (three over the past day),” reads the report.
According to the Ministry of Health, 25 038 people continue getting treatment for CVI (13 404 CVI + and 11 643 CVI-),  6522 patients are in hospitals, and 18 516 patients are at the outpatient level.
" 307 patients are in serious condition, 61 patients are in a state of  extreme severity;  34 patients - are on lung ventilators, ” said the report.
