Shymkent. November 13. KazTAG – 13-year old boy helped police discover robbery of a firm in Shymkent, press service of Interior affairs department of South-Kazakhstan region reported.
«A schoolboy helped police reveal an armed assault, committed several days ago. On November 14, chief of the interior affairs department of South-Kazakhstan delivered 13 year old boy a certificate of appreciation and cash bonus worth of 150 thousand tenge for his assistance in uncovering thecrime», - the department said.
As it is reported, the robbery took place on November 10. It became clear, that day at 15:00 two unknown men in masks, armed with pistols, opened fire at the front left side of the window of Opel Vectra car. After that, threatening to kill 25- year old and his passenger-accountant of a firm, criminals stole T7 mln.
Police searched the area and questioned witnesses. 13 year old boy helped them track down alleged criminals. He spotted a Mazda 626 car, parked not far from his house, with two men aged about 30-35 inside. Later, the boy saw them running towards their car. One of them had a plastic bag, and the other – a pistol. They got into their car and fled in an unknown direction. The boy gave a detailed description of the car and suspects.
As a result of search operations, police of Al-Farabi Interior affairs department of Shymkent detained a suspect, local resident, with stolen money worth of T1 mln 700 thousand in his car. As the police found, the suspect worked in the firm as a driver before, but was booted out for negative motives. His accomplice was detained too.
Criminal case was opened under the article 179 CC of RK (robbery). Investigation is underway.
