138.5 bln tenge needed to construct infrastructure of petrochemical techno-park in Aktau region in 2016-2018
Astana. February 23. KazTAG - 138.5 bln tenge will be needed to complete infrastructure construction of the special economic zone "National industrial petrochemical technopark" in Atyrau region in 2016-2018, said Vladimir Shkolnik, Minister of Energy.
"According to the feasibility study, the estimated cost of the infrastructure objects construction makes 245.5 bln tenge, of them 93 bln tenge were allocated from the National fund in 2014-2015. Since 2001 until 2014 - 14 bln tenge were invested into the infrastructure objects construction. Thus, 138.5 bln tenge will be needed to finish the infrastructure objects construction in 2016-2018," said Shkolnik
In his words, the state development program prescribes industrial infrastructure development in the special economic zone in Atyrau region. He reminded, in 2007 the President ordered to create a special economic zone at 3475.9 hectares territory which will consist of 3 parts- Karabatan, Tengiz and Atyrau city.
"Karabatan will center the main industries of petrochemical products- polypropene, polyethelene, butadiene. Gas separation installation will function at Tengiz part, a park of small and medium business for finished products manufacture will be located in the Technopark in Aktau," he said.
