138 mln tenge allocated in East Kazakhstan region for acquisition of vaccine for tick-borne encephalitis

Ust-Kamenogorsk. April 23. KazTAG - 138 mln tenge have been allocated in the East Kazakhstan region for acquisition of vaccine for tick-borne encephalitis, reports the Health Care Department of the East Kazakhstan region.
"Ticks season has started in the East Kazakhstan region. 138 mln tenge have been allocated for acquisition of vaccine for tick-borne encephalitis. The vaccine has been delivered to hospitals of three districts- Ulansk, Katon-Karagay and Shemonaikhinskiy. 19 l of immunoglobulin will be provided for free," said the health care departments.
Foresters, farmers and people who work in the danger zones will be provided with vaccination for free.
The health care department reminded in case of tick bite people must apply to hospital not later than after three days.
