Almaty June 4. KazTAG - 16 Uzbeks were poisoned by household gas in Karaganda, reported the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
“According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan, on June 3, at 00.15 in Karaganda recorded the fact of poisoning of 16 citizens of Uzbekistan by household gas. The victims were hospitalized in the regional medical center of Karaganda", - reported the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The incident occurred as a result of carbon monoxide leakage from a gasoline unit in a newly built house, where Uzbek citizens carried out repair works.
4 of the victims have already left the hospital due to a stable state of health, the rest are under the supervision of doctors.
“The law enforcement agencies of Karaganda are conducting an investigation to determine the causes and consequences of the emergency,” - follows from the report.
