1773 cases of COVID-19 and pneumonia with signs of CVI recorded in Kazakhstan on May 9-10

Astana. May 11. KazTAG - 1773 cases of COVID-19 (CVI +) and pneumonia with signs of coronavirus infection (CVI-) were recorded in Kazakhstan on May 9-10,reports the press service of the Ministry of Health.
“From March 13, 2020 to May 10, 2021, CVI +: morbidity - 346 497 (1766 over the past day), mortality - 3948 (20 on May 9); from August 1, 2020 to May 10, 2021 CVI-: incidence - 53,571 (seven on May 9), mortality - 837 (five on May 9) ", said the report.
According to the Ministry of Health, at the moment, 1094 people continue getting treatment for CVI (40 692 CVI + and 402 CVI-),  15 068 patients are in hospitals, and 26 026 patients are at the outpatient level.
“Among the patients with CVI + and CVI-,  802 patients are in serious condition, 186 patients are in state of extreme severity, 105 patients on ventilators,” reads the report.
1 698 893 people have received the first component of coronavirus vaccine.
