190 bln tenge planned to be invested in infrastructure development of 11 airports of Kazakhstan until 2030
Astana. January 29. KazTAG - It is planned to invest about 190 bln tenge into infrastructure development of 11 airports until 2030 in Kazakhstan, said Claude Badan, CEO "Airport Management Group".
"The investments in the airports of Kazakhstan will make up 167 billion tenge, of them 62 billion tenge will be injected in the minimal technical requirements, other 105 billion - into the airports development. Until 2030 the investments will make up additional 22.8 billion. Airports activity need subsidizing," he said.
He reminded a special company on airports management "Airport Management Group" was created in Kazakhstan which received 7 state shareholdings in trust management of the airports of Astana, Kokshetau, Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, Shymkent, Kyzylorda.
"It is planned to consolidate 11 airports in the portfolio of the managing company. Additionally - Aktobe, Aktau, Pavlodar from "Samruk-Kazyna" and later- Oskemen and Semey," he added.
