20 citizens of Uzbekistan remained without passports and salary in the Almaty region

Almaty. June 25. KazTAG - 20 citizens of Uzbekistan have remained without passports and salaries in Kazakhstan, reports the Uzbekistan Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"According to the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Almaty, a consulate representative arrived to Mynbayevo village in the Almaty region to check the application which came through the social networks. It was revealed that 20 citizens of Uzbekistan arrived to Kazakhstan in early March to work at the brick plant. Their passports have been taken away under the pretense of temporary registration and labor permit. The plant owner refused to pay the salary and return the passports, workers applied to the law enforcement bodies," said the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
According to the Foreign Ministry, a criminal case has been opened on the fact of illegal employment of foreign work force.
