20 suicide bombers detained in the north of Tajikistan
Almaty. November 17. KazTAG - 20 suicide bombers preparing diversions at the strategic objects have been detained in Sogdiysk region in Tajikistan, reports the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA).
"In the time of special operation more than 20 residents of the state have been detained in several regions, they were the members of " the Islamic movement of Uzbekistan" which is considered to be a terror organization in the Republic and a number of foreign states (including in the US)," said Ramazan Rakhimzoda, head of MIA of Tajikistan, reports the TASS news agency.
Suicide bomber's belts, explosives, detonators and extremist literature have been withdrawn from the group.
"They underwent preparation in the special camps in one foreign state and planned to attack a number of industrial objects and administrative buildings to destabilize the situation," said Rakhimzoda.
