200 000 Kazakhstani families have four children or more
Astana. May 20. KazTAG - About 200 000 families in Kazakhstan have four children and more, said Tamara Duisenova, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
"A national model of support of maternity and childhood has been formed in Kazakhstan. Birth rate increased by 1.5 times in the past 5 years. About 200 000 families foster four children and more," said Duisenova at the third international scientific-practical conference "From social protection - to social progress".
In her words, in the past 15 years the size of population with profits below the cost of living reduced by 7.4 times- to 3% of all the population in 2013.
