"Due to the efforts of Kazakhstani diplomats a special flight of Air Astana delivered 217 people from Beijing tonight who returned from 36 cities of China. Mainly they are students and there were also five infants among them," he said.
In his words, another Air Astana flight will depart to China on February 12 to evacuate other 150 people.
"These flights are conducted under the support of China, the flights also delivered 45 citizens of China to Beijing," he said.
He added that several hundreds of citizens of Kazakhstan decided to stay in China.
