“23 gambling terminals with cash in the amount of KZT800,000, which were located in Nur-Sultan stores, were seized from illegal circulation,” said the report.
Illegal income from the placement of terminals amounted to KZT10.2 million. Suspects face imprisonment of up to five years with confiscation of property.
The placement of casinos and slot machine halls on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the exception of the coast of the Kapshagay reservoir of the Almaty region and the Shchuchinsky district of the Akmola region, is prohibited.
