3.5 bn tenge allocated from Governmental reserve for combat with coronavirus in Kazakhstan

Astana. February 5. KazTAG - Up to 3.5 bn tenge have been allocated from the reserve of the Government of Kazakhstan to coronavirus preventive measures.
"The funds have been allocated from the Governmental reserve for procurement of medicines, masks, thermal imagers and other equipment to prevent spread of coronavirus on the line of the Ministry of Health Care. Approximately 3.5 bn tenge have been allocated. The process will be controlled by the Ministry of Health Care," said Alikhan Smailov, First Deputy Prime Minister- Minister of Finance.
According to the latest data 20 623 people have caught coronavirus, 427 have died since the end of December 2019.
