3 bn tenge to be annually allocated to grant young scientists in Kazakhstan

Astana. February 20. KazTAG - 3 bn tenge will be annually allocated for the grants of young scientists in Kazakhstan in 2020-2022, reports the press-service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
"9 bn tenge ( 3 bn tenge annually) will be allocated for the grant financing of scientific researches of young scientists in 2020-2022," said the report.
The scientific councils have selected 1013 applications on seven priority directions.
"Power and mechanical engineering (102); rational use of natural resources, including water resources, geology, processing, new materials and technologies, safe products and structures (313); information, telecommunication and space technologies, scientific research in the field of natural sciences (167); sustainable development of the agricultural sector and safety of agricultural products (139); life and health science (127); scientific foundations of "Mangilik El" (education of the XXI century, fundamental and applied research in the field of humanities, 155); national security and defense (10), ” reads the report.
