30 billion tenge of stabilization fund of Kazakhstan distributed among shopping centers on incomprehensible principle - senator

Astana. September 17. KazTAG - 30 billion tenge of the stabilization fund of Kazakhstan are distributed among the shopping centers on an incomprehensible principle, said Akhylbek Kurishbayev, Senate deputy.
“30 billion tenge have been allocated from the budget to stabilize the prices for socially significant food products, (...) but the principle of choosing shopping centers is not clear. Why only a few have access to the concessional loans? With significant fluctuations in food prices, their minimum limit can hardly be predicted, since prices for agricultural products change not only by seasons, but every year," he said.
According to him, there is no obligation for shopping centers to purchase only domestic agricultural products, therefore, Kazakh farmers cannot sell their products, and budget funds flow to foreign manufacturers.
