38 bn tenge of state funds are to be allocated for creation and launch of KazSat-2R satellite during next three years

Astana. January 6. KazTAG - 38 bn tenge of budget funds are planned to be spent on creation and launch of KazSat-2R satellite during next three years.
It is planned to allocate 8 bn tenge in 2021 and 15 bn tenge annually in 2022 and 2023 according to the budget program entitled "Increase of fixed capital of Republican center of space communications" for creation and launch of KazSaqt-2R satellite.
According to the description - 21% of the program of creation of KazSat-2R space communication system will be completed in 2020, 59% - in 2021 and 97% in 2022.
As it was reported, Askar Zhumagaliyev, Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, said on December 18 2019 that a part of telecommunication satellite KazSat-2R will be produced in Nur-Sultan. Later Kazcosmos said the project of creation and launch of KazSat-2R was initiated due to completion of operation term of KazSat-2 in 2023.  KazSat-2R will cover the territory of Kazakhstan, territory of Central Asian states and central part of Russia.
