39 children recovering from COVID-19 got sick with Kawasaki-like syndrome in Kazakhstan

Almaty. September 29. KazTAG - 39 children recovering from COVID-19 fell ill with Kawasaki-like syndrome in Kazakhstan, reports the official source dedicated to the situation with COVID-19 in Kazakhstan.
“In total, 2.5 thousand children have fallen ill with COVID-19 in the country since March. Today, the situation with the incidence of coronavirus in children is stable. For multisystem inflammatory syndrome or kawasaki-like syndrome, which occurs in children after overcoming the coronavirus infection, the situation is also stable. To date, 39 cases of this syndrome in children have been recorded, of which 60% of children recovered and were safely discharged, and 40% continue getting treatment," reads the report.
