Astana. September 27. KazTAG - 40,000 Russians have transited Kazakhstan  in recent days, said Aslan Atalykov, Acting Chairman of the Migration Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“As for transit, more than 40,000 citizens of Russia left Kazakhstan. Thousands left through Kazakhstan to our southern neighbors - to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. In five days, almost six thousand Russians flew out of Kazakhstan through our airports. We should not forget about the transit potential of Kazakhstan for citizens of the Russian Federation,” Aslan Atalykov said at a briefing by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
He recalled that the length of the land border between Kazakhstan and Russia is 7,591 km. It is the longest land border in the world. Therefore, a large migration flow is primarily associated with the neighborhood.
