Astana. January 13. KazTAG - 43 flu cases have been registered in Astana, Almaty and five regions of Kazakhstan since the beginning of the epidemiological season, reports the committee for protection of consumers rights of the Ministry of National Economy.
"Since the beginning of epidemiological season (since October 1 2014) 240 859 ARVI cases have been registered, the majority of them are children (71%) aged below 14. 43 flu cases have been registered," reads the message posted on the site of authorized committee.
As of January 12 2015 the flu virus A1, A3 and B type has been registered in Aktubinsk, Atyrau, Mangistau, North Kazakhstan, South Kazakhstan regions, Almaty and Astana.
1 633 423 people (9.4%) have been vaccinated against flu in the country.
