438 new coronavirus cases revealed in Kazakhstan

Astana. May 26. KazTAG -438 new coronavirus cases have been revealed in Kazakhstan, reports the interdepartmental commission for prevention of COVID-19 spread in Kazakhstan.
“438 new coronavirus cases have been revealed (growth rate was 5.1%). (...) A total of 8969 cases have been confirmed in the country," reads the epidemiological report.
According to the headquarters, 438 new cases have been reported:

- in the Zhambyl region - 51 (17.5%),

- in Shymkent - 69 (11.3%),

- in the Karaganda region - 67 (11.3%),

- in the West Kazakhstan region - 38 (9.2%),

- in the Turkestan region - 17 (5.4%),

- in the Almaty region - 12 (4.2%),

- in the Kostanay region - five (4.1%),

- in the Atyrau region - 32 (3.6%),

- in Almaty - 75 (3.4%),

- in Nur Sultan - 56 (3.4%),

- in the Mangistau region - five (3%),

- in the Kyzylorda region - eight (2.4%),

- in the Akmola region - one (0.7%),

- in the Aktobe region - two (0.7%).
