440 measles cases among children aged under 14 registered since January 2019 in Kazakhstan

Astana. January 21. KazTAG - 440 measles cases among children aged under 14 have been registered in Kazakhstan since early 2019, reports the Ministry of Health Care.
"Since early 2019 594 measles cases have been fixed, including children aged under 14 - 440 (74%)," reads the message.
576 measles cases were fixed in Kazakhstan in 2018, including 484 cases among children (84%).
"Morbidity is mainly fixed among non-vaccinated children (436 cases or 76%). Of them 272 (62%) have not reached the vaccination age, 119 (27%) for medical reasons, 45 (11%) due to refusal from vaccination," reads the message.
