7 527 cases of COVID-19 and CVI-pneumonia recorded in Kazakhstan on August 1-2

Astana. August 3. KazTAG – 7 527 cases of COVID-19 (CVI +) and pneumonia with signs of coronavirus infection (CVI-) were recorded in Kazakhstan on August 1-2, said the press service of the Ministry of Health.
“From March 13, 2020 to August 2, 2021, CVI +: morbidity - 595 433 (7481 over the past day), mortality - 6153 (110 on 1 August); from March 13, 2020 to August 1, 2021 CVI-: morbidity - 61 301 (46 on August 1), mortality - 3756 (16 on August 1), "reads the report.
102 839 people continue getting treatment for CVI (100 145 CVI + and 2694 CVI-), 29 138 patients are in hospitals, 73 701 patients are at the outpatient level.
“1707 patients are in serious condition, 395 patients are in state of extreme severity, 197 patients are on ventilators,” reads the report.
