About 1.5 tons of drugs withdrawn by NSC border service in 2014
Almaty. January 19. KazTAG- About 1.5 tons of drugs, including 96.8 kg of heroin, have been withdrawn by the border service of the national security committee (NSC) in 2014.
"An expanded session of military council of NSC border service was held in Almaty involving Nurtay Abykayev, chairman of the national security council of Kazakhstan. The members of the military council considered the activity results of the border department in 2014. In this period 673 attempts of transportation of banned freights more than 2000 tons in weight have been suppressed. About 1.5 tons of drugs, including 96.8 kg of heroin have been withdrawn," reads the message.
About 4000 fish of valuable species have been withdrawn during the prophylactic arrangements in the Caspian Sea.
