About 1 thousand people died following earthquake in Turkey

Astana. February 7. KazTAG - About 1,000 people have been killed in the earthquake in Turkey, RIA reports.
“At the moment, 912 people have been confirmed dead, 5,385 people have been injured. 2,470 people have been rescued,” said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Rescue Coordination Center.
According to the President, it is difficult to predict the final death toll.
“We hope to overcome this catastrophe with the least human losses,” Erdogan added.
He also reported that 2,818 buildings collapsed in various cities.
