Aktau. November 5. KazTAG - Illegal checks of small and medium enterprises and also the violations made by the businessmen have been discussed in Aktau at the meeting with Talgat Alibayev, prosecutor of the city.
"Since the introduction of the moratorium (on April 2 this year-KazTAG) the sanitary surveillance service has not conducted any checks of small and medium enterprises. However, there have been checks by the applications of citizens and heads of different institutions," said Saltanat Uteyeva, head of sanitary epidemic surveillance.
"This time the sanitary surveillance service has received 80 applications complaining on entrepreneurs, first of all connected with poisoning cases at the catering places. In 9 months of this year there have been 18 cases of poisoning with spoilt products, in five cases about 400 children suffered," she said.
Meanwhile, Alibayev said the prosecutor's office is ready to protect only fair businessmen.
"The moratorium was introduced only to improve the conditions for business activity in the country. As it was revealed despite the moratorium there have been illegal checks of small and medium enterprises. Of course, we are ready to protect honest businessmen. However, I should mark that many businessmen took the moratorium as a green light for any violation of laws and rules," he said.
