About 900 more surveillance cameras and Sergek will be installed in Bostandyk district of Almaty

Almaty. February 9. KazTAG - About 900 more surveillance cameras and Sergek will be installed in the Bostandyk district of Almaty, said Yerbolat Dosayev, Mayor of Almaty.
“To expand the network of video monitoring systems in 2022, the installation of 301 video surveillance cameras was completed in the district. The data from the video camera were brought to the Central Educational Establishment of the Almaty City Center. This will allow the law enforcement agencies to monitor public safety in crowded places in real time. In addition, by the end of the first quarter, a list of addresses for the installation of new video cameras will be prepared - approximately 700-800 video cameras,” Dosayev said at a meeting with residents of the Bostandyk district.
He said that in the first quarter of 2023, it is planned to additionally equip the streets of the district with new 96 Sergek cams.
