Afghanistan increased flour import by 3.7 times from Kazakhstan in January-April
Astana. June 2. KazTAG - Kazakhstan increased export of wheat and wheat-rye flour to Afghanistan to 223.6 thousand tons in January-April 2014 ($72.5 mln), 366.9% up in quantity and 308.9% up in sum year on year, reports the committee of customs control of the Ministry of Finance.
According to the published data, without accounting the CU states, Kazakhstan increased export of flour in January-April 2014 to 627.7 thousand tons ($181.5 mln), 33.5% up in quantity and 16.1% up in sum year on year.
The biggest consumers of Kazakhstani flour were: Uzbekistan- 301.8 thousand tons (+6.2%), Tajikistan- 61.4 thousand tons (-7.8%), Kyrgyzstan- 21.3 thousand tons (-48.8%), Turkmenistan- 17.9 thousand tons (+35.2%).
