Agency for state service affairs to continue staff optimization

Astana. January 20. KazTAG - The agency for state service affairs will continue optimization of staff by 15% until the end of February, reports Akorda.
At the meeting with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, the chairwoman of the agency Anar Zhailganova reported about the outcomes of the Agency’s work in terms of improving the procedures for entering the civil service, professionalizing the political civil service, motivating and developing personnel, working with the Presidential youth personnel reserve, as well as about changes in the organizational culture of the civil service.
In addition, the Head of State was told about the digitalization of the civil service, including the expansion of the integration of E-Qyzmet system and the development of i-Qyzmet system.
President Tokayev was also informed about the reformatting of the Agency's work. According to Anar Zhailganova, the Agency’s staff was optimized by 10 % in 2020, and by the end of the coming February, it will be additionally optimized by another 15 %.
Noting the need for further improvement of the civil service, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the Chairman of the Agency to ensure control over the transparency and efficiency of the process of reducing civil servants at the central and local levels. The Head of State also instructed to intensify the Agency’s activities within the preparation and implementation of the Concept of Public Administration.
