Air Astana plans to replace Boeing-757 with Airbus A321

Astana. February 25. KazTAG - Air Astana company plans to replace Boeing-757 with Airbus A321, reports Akorda.
"The head of state received Peter Foster, president of Air Astana company. (...) The head of the company reported about update of the air fleet, including replacement of Boeing-757 with Airbus A321, and also planned acquisition of Boeing-787 until 2023," reads the report.
Foster also informed Kassym-Jomart Tokayev about current condition and further development of the national air carrier, including increase of domestic transportations, launch of new foreign routes and reduction of tickets fares.
According to Foster, after creation of Fly Arystan low cost carrier, Kazakhstan entered the list of states with rapidly developing market of domestic transportations in the world.
The head of state marked importance of further development of "open sky" regime and launch of new routes, including to Singapore, New-York and other big cities of the world.
