Air Kazakhstan company to be launched in spring 2015
Astana. July 8. KazTAG - Air Kazakhstan company will be launched in spring 2015, said Nurzhan Shakirov, president of the company.
"The air company plans to purchase 10 aircrafts Q400 and conduct the flights since spring 2015," he said at the presentation of Q400 Next Gen aircraft.
In his words initially the pilots will be prepared in Canada.
"We think during the first year some staff will be formed of local personnel," he said.
In his words, the cost of one airplane makes $23 mln. In his opinion, the main task is to conduct safe flights, a number of factors affect the safety which will influence the tickets price.
"Transportations must be affordable and we plan the price will be lower than now. How much lower- the question is premature," he said.
In his words the company will conduct flights from Astana, Almaty and Atyrau.
