Air, soil and water checked for radiation and pollution in Arys
Astana. July 1. KazTAG - Air, soil and water have been checked for radiation and pollution in Arys, reports Kazhydromet.
"Kazhydromet branches in the Turkestan and Kyzylorda regions took the samples of atmospheric air, soil, radiation background and surface waters on June 29 2019," reads the report.
Air was checked at eight sites and covered six pollutants: suspended solids, nitrogen dioxide, nitrous oxide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, formaldehyde.
“According to the results of the analysis, pollutants were not detected at all eight points,” reads the message.
Specialists have not detected any excess of the permissible level of radiation.
