Astana. February 28. KazTAG – Aliya Nazarbayeva and Valentina Rogova, wife of the former chairman of the Constitutional Council Igor Rogov, are accused of raiding attacks.
“In 2003 (Nazarbayeva - KazTAG), using her influence, seized an operating business worth $170 million (according to 2003 estimates) consisting of seven oil depots and 96 gas stations. For raiding, she threatened the former owners with prison and physical harm. To make her threats more convincing, during the day she openly kidnapped the father of one of the co-owners of a business in the center of Almaty and, according to witnesses, law enforcement officers may have been involved in the kidnapping. An accomplice in the crime was Valentina Rogova, who is the wife of Igor Ivanovich Rogov, who held government positions: Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Assistant to the President, Advisor to the President and many other government positions,” reads the announcement of the upcoming press conference at the National Press Club on Wednesday .
