"Arrival and departure of all the flights have been delayed in the international airport "Nursultan Nazarbayev" due to bad weather conditions and limited visibility. Wind speed reaches 20 meters per second, gusts- 24 mps. Wind is forecasted to reach 27 mps," reads the statement.
Departure of 19 domestic and 13 international flights has been delayed. 14 domestic and four international flights have been cancelled. Arrival of 16 international and 20 domestic flights has been delayed, arrival of 13 domestic and two international flights has been cancelled.
