Dangerous chemicals discovered in Shreck and pony toys in East Kazakhstan region

Almaty. May 8. KazTAG - Dangerous chemicals have been discovered in Shreck and pony toys in the East Kazakhstan  region, reports YK-news.kz.
"Two types of toys were discovered in the trade points in April which did not comply with the sanitary-chemical indexes. Shreck toy made in China contained excessive volumes of two harmful substances: formaldehyde and isopropyl alcohol. In the toy "Pony" (also made in China), the alcohol content was 0.6 milligrams per liter at a rate of 0.1," reads the report.
The local authorities have been withdrawing the hazardous toys and investigating who imported the  products to Kazakhstan.
