Almaty returned to green zone for coronavirus, Nur-Sultan became the leader in R index

Astana. January 18. KazTAG - Almaty has returned to the "green" zone for coronavirus, Nur-Sultan became the leader in on the reproductive rate of coronavirus infection (CVI) - R index.
According to the matrix for assessing the epidemiological situation in the regions presented on Monday, Nur-Sultan, as well as Pavlodar, Akmola, Kostanay and Atyrau regions are in the "red" zone.  At the same time, Nur-Sultan is the leader in the republic in terms of R, being between the values of 1.2 and 1.3.
The Almaty, Karaganda and West Kazakhstan regions are in the yellow zone.
Almaty, Shymkent and all other regions are in the "green" zone, where the situation is assessed as stable, with the possibility of easing restrictive measures.
