Almaty transferred from "yellow" to "green" zone for coronavirus incidence

Almaty. December 4. KazTAG - Almaty has transferred from the "yellow" zone to the "green" zone on coronavirus incidence.
According to the matrix for assessing the epidemiological situation in the regions presented on Friday, the situation in Almaty is assessed as stable, with the possibility of easing restrictive measures.
The combined rate of increase in incidence (R) for Almaty is below one.
Almaty had been in the “yellow” zone, which provides for the preservation of the current quarantine measures and strengthening control over their compliance. Now only the East Kazakhstan region is in the “yellow” zone.
Akmola, Kostanay, Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan regions are in the "red" zone, where strict restrictions are envisaged.
All other regions of Kazakhstan, like Almaty, are in the "green" zone.
