Almaty zoo plans to establish animals exchange with zoos of five states
Almaty. September 2. KazTAG - Almaty zoo is going to establish exchange with animals with five states, reports the press-service of the zoo.
"The documents have been signed which will boost cooperation and exchange with experience between the specialists of the zoological parks of Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Belarus and Uzbekistan. Bilateral cooperation agreement has been signed between the zoos of Almaty and Tashkent. In addition a multilateral memorandum on cooperation has been signed with Dessau zoo (Germany), Shymkent zoological park, Minsk zoological park (Belarus), Zoo Khleby, Zoo Brno, Golubka Ograda (the Czech republic), the zoo of Surgut, Eco-school of Chita and Irkutsk botanical garden (Russia)," reads the message.
Within the frameworks of cooperation the animals will be transferred for temporary and constant keeping, breeding, provision of reliable zoo technical and veterinary information, including on diet, behavior, veterinary care and keeping features.
