“The process of compensation for damage to citizens affected by large-scale floods continues in Kazakhstan. The government is carrying out this work on behalf of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Residents of Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan and a number of other regions of the republic submit appropriate applications to specially created regional commissions. To date, 16,862 applications have been accepted,” the message said.
To date, 3,210 residential buildings have been inspected in the affected regions, and assessments have been carried out on 1,969 properties.
