Almost 2 kg of hashish discovered in tires of Russian citizen in Almaty

Almaty. April 30. KazTAG - Almost 2 kg of hashish have been discovered in the tires of a citizen of Russia in Almaty, reports the city police department.
"A series of special operations for arrest of drugs dealers have been conducted in Almaty. In different districts of the city suspects have been detained for trafficking drugs on a large scale. One operation was held in the Auezov district in the garage area. 25 years old citizen of Russia was storing and sorting hashish," reads the message.
The man hid 1 kg 906 gr of drugs in the tires in four 2 liters plastic bags and polyethylene wraps.
"The man was trading smoking substances for material benefits. Police discovered a handmade device for smoking. The man has been taken to pre-trial detention facility of Almaty," said Talgat Berkenbayev, head of department for combatting drugs trafficking.
Police also detained 54 years old man in Zhetisu district who was storing heroin in the guest room 212 gr in weight.
